If you follow me on the Instagram you probably seen me and this beautiful calf hair clutch. I am excited to finally share a project that I am honored to be a part of the Minnie + George lookbook project in which 10 bloggers were each give a bag from Minnie + George spring 2015 collection and was asked to style it.
Each bag is handcrafted by Lori in Portland, Oregon. Here is the story behind Minnie and George
"Minnie + George started as a craft and evolved into a business. I've always been obsessed with footwear and handbags (I had a "boot birthday" once, in which I asked my friends to chip in for a pair of boots I'd been lusting after as my gift). I took a class and learned how to make a basic zip clutch and I was hooked. I started sketching and designing my own bags. Once I decided to give it a go as a professional maker, I chose the name Minnie + George as a dedication to my parents, Minnie and George Caldwell. In my very whacky, unconventional life, they've always been my biggest supporters and cheerleaders. Never, and I mean, not once, have they ever doubted my goals and passions in life. They're also my greatest examples of love, hard work, dedication, style, and commitment to personal excellence--all qualities I try to exemplify in my work. I even launched the business on their 48th wedding anniversary (June 10, 2014) as a gift to them. I love that every year the business grows and evolves, it will celebrate it's anniversary with my parents growing and evolving marriage."

I fell in love with the simplicity of this clutch. It's the perfect addition to an outfit whether it be for an evening event or brunch with the girls. It's big enough to contain your essentials from your cell phone charger to your lipstick.
For 10 Day, from April 27th to May 8th, 10 bloggers were each given their own Minnie + George bag to style. Tomorrow Courtney Halverson from Pretty Little Fawn will be showcasing how she styled her bag make sure to visit her blog.
